The Ormond Beach Arts District Board of Directors is a small and active board that is working to bring more visual and performing arts, history and cultural activity to Ormond Beach.
Since joining a non-profit board is always a commitment of time and energy, we wanted to share some of what we expect of board members during their service.
1. The Ormond Beach Arts District board meets monthly on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm.
2. Each board member is expected to:
• Attend at least ¾ of each year’s meetings (no less than 8). Requests for excused absences must be submitted in a timely manner.
• Participate in at least one subcommittee.
• Actively participate in at least one sponsored event or project
• Participate in the board’s fund-raising efforts by contributing or soliciting a minimum of $500 annually or by giving 25 volunteer hours annually.
3. Each member’s term is 2 years. Board members may serve as many as three consecutive terms before rotating off the board.
4. The board is seated on the same cycle as our fiscal year - Oct. 1 through Sept 30.
